Simulate an Eruption

Simulate an eruption of Vesuvius by selecting a value for both Magma Discharge Rate and Magma gas content. After selecting the values, click "Erupt" to see the simulation.

In your field notebook, describe how variations in each of the factors controls the nature of the eruption. You might want to think about how you would illustrate your findings graphically, using each parameter as a variable.
